Polymers Division

• Epoxy Resin, Reactive diluents and Hardener are manufactured, marketed and sold in the name of “LAPOX” by polymers division of Atul Ltd.
• Manufacturing of Epoxy systems began in 1968 in a company established as a joint venture between Atul and Ciba,Switzerland. In 1999, on the merger of the JV with parent company, the Epoxy operations became a part of Atul Ltd. The current state of the art manufacturing facility with total production capacity of 40000 TPA is located 200 km from North of Mumbai at Valsad in Gujrat. Currently the division is awarded ISO 9001-2008 and ISO- 14000.

• TTPL started production in year 1951. The unit was promoted by the then princely state of Travancore in collaboration with the British Titan Products (BTP) Company Limited, U.K. (now known as Tioxide Group Limited).

We offer the GSFC Cyclohexane (C6H12) at market leading rates to the clients. We are authorized distributors for GSFC for their GSFC Cyclohexane and Cyclohexanone product in India.

Applications

• GSFC Cyclohexane is used as a solvent for resin, paint and varnish and for extraction of essential oils
• As an intermediate in the manufacture of Caprolactam.

About KMML : KMML has been Manufacturing Titanium Dioxide through the chloride route since 1984 and theirs is the only fully integrated Titanium Dioxide Plant in the world, it is a Kerala State Govt fully owned and managed by the Government of Kerala, KMML produces very pure rutile grade Titanium dioxide pigment. The different grades churned out by KMML under brand name KEMOX has a ready market which asks for more. The commendable work in research by the R&D department has also helped KMML to add more colours to its portfolio.
